When I picked up this book for the first time, I was immediately attracted by these interesting and insightful short stories. The fate of each character really catches my heart. Whenever I read, I can feel the characters’ sorrow, loneliness, and internal conflict. I find myself immersed a completely different world through the unique lens of the author. If you want to know the life of modern immigrants in the US, you can’t miss this one.
